Supercars in space: NASA shows off 'Batmobile', minibus and chariot we'll drive on Mars

SUPERCARS will be speeding across Mars in less than two years – and this is what they’ll look like.

A glorious golden Lunar Chariot could soon be the latest high-end motor to cart us around the Red Planet, space boffins reckon.

NASA scientists have built a fleet of flashy space supercars – and they might just be our ride across Mars in 2020.

A whopping great armoured “Batmobile”-style off-roader wowed onlookers at the Kennedy Space Centre in Florida this week.

Space mechanics compare the chassis of the Chariot to the Lunar Electric Rover, an “off-road race truck” test-driven on lava deserts in 2009.

The “spider leg” six wheels of the sexy supercar mean it can zoom off in any direction.
