Players have not shown any interest in boycotting Margaret Court Arena during the Australian Open despite dual Australian Open champion Billie Jean King saying she would refuse to play on the court if she was in the tournament.
The Australian tennis legend's controversial comments opposing same sex marriage and disparaging the gay, lesbian, bisexual and transgender community have led to calls for the name of the Arena to be changed, however player action is unlikely.
World No.1 Rafael Nadal refused to buy into the issue when asked his views.
"I am here to play tennis. I am not here for things that really doesn't have a big impact on the game," Nadal said.
"I love the Margaret Court Arena. If the Australian Open decides to hold the name or decides to change the name, is not my decision. I am really just here to play in the Australian Open."
