Mr Ross said, pending the results, the company was well on its way to formally submitting its development application to the WA Planning Commission – and he was confident it would be given the green light.
"We are hoping to submit the development application in the next four to six months," he said.
The company is currently waiting on a response from the Environmental Protection Authority, who are charged with assessing Urbnsurf's environmental impact assessment.
When this is finished, it's understood the company will move forward to finalise its plans.
Mr Ross said it was important to be transparent and said the development application, a summary of geotechnical results and the environmental assessment would be published on the company website once available.
