Melbourne Victory have bolstered their attacking stocks for the new season by adding Dutch attacker Leroy George to their roster.
The former Eredivisie player signed a one-year deal after a medical on Saturday.
George was born in Suriname, South America, a former Dutch colony from which so many famous players for The Netherlands have come.
He spent most of his childhood in Amsterdam before joining nearby Eredivisie club, FC Utrecht, in 2006.
"He's physically very strong, has good speed and can score goals, exactly the type of player we had been chasing.
"I'm really happy with how the squad is coming together, and Leroy's signing adds further depth to what I feel is a balanced and versatile, yet very strong, playing group."
