"I will have a look at history and see what other Magic Millions winners have done, like Capitalist, but I would like to have a run at Rosehill before the Slipper.
"The way it looks she will have one run into the Slipper, if that has to be in the Magic Night Stakes, a week out at Rosehill, it wouldn't worry me because she has done the seven-day back-up into the Magic Millions.
"She has shown she is a very classy filly but the Slipper is another step up."
The other option for Sunlight would be the Reisling Stakes at Randwick two weeks out from the Golden Slipper, which is traditionally the strongest of the Golden Slipper trials.
McEvoy was able to secure a sister to Sunlight for $600,000 earlier in the week, which was one of 24 yearlings he bought at the Magic Millions Sales.
