"I really don't know why, obviously they've just really clicked with our system, we've had a lot of joy and luck with broodmares, it's just a pretty good system with good staff.
"They really didn't have much form at all and came over as maidens, but they've made big improvements and couldn't be going any better."
Pepper confirmed Shezacraftsman will head to Sydney and look for a 2000-metre race, while Keeper Girl is set for a benchmark 55 after breaking her maiden.
"Shezacraftsman has been a good little money-spinner since she got here - $28,000 winning that race today so I can't complain," Pepper said.
"She'll head to town more than likely, she's a mare that will step out over a bit further next time, 2000 metres plus, but first we'll let the dust settle after these and see how she pulls up.
