"It’s building. We trained here [on Friday] at 5pm and there must have been about 400 or 500 kids here," Cameron said.
"We might have to look at our training times because we’ve been at 1pm or 2pm, and maybe the kids can’t get out of school. I remember in Launceston when I was at Hawthorn, they’d clearly have a big crowd watching training and then they get that 15000 on the Saturday or Sunday when they played.
"There’s definitely something building here in Canberra, not only in Sydney but Canberra as well. To have 14000 people on that support in such a short period of time is enormous.
"We’ve got lots of members down here, we’ve got a lot of excited kids running around in Giants jumpers. We’re really making an impact and it’s great that we can play some really good footy."
