Firefighters have extinguished a large shed fire at Mt Tamborine, south of Brisbane.
Initial reports suggested a light aircraft crashed into the shed on a property off Waterford-Tamborine Road, although firefighters confirmed that was not the case after arriving at the scene.
Explosions were heard before the shed was engulfed by flames about 10.20am, a police spokeswoman said.
The fire was extinguished about 11.40am, but a Department of Community Safety spokesman said crews would remain at the scene to monitor any spotfires.
Investigations into the cause of the fire are continuing, although the spokesman said a number of accelerants were inside the shed, including gas, fuel and acetylene cylinders.
