ANTHONY Milford will play with Canberra in 2014 having lost his bid for a release to return to Brisbane.
The Raiders issued a statement on Wednesday confirming Milford will remain a Raider, the club he joined on scholarship as a 13-year-old.
Now 19, Milford's future has come under speculation over the past few months after it was revealed he had a desire to return to Brisbane to be with his sick father.
However Milford will return to pre-season training with the Raiders on Monday the 16th of December after holidaying in Samoa following the Rugby League World Cup.
"We acknowledge that Anthony has battled home sickness and is very close to his family however we are pleased that he will be playing for our club in 2014," Raiders CEO Don Furner said.
Milford became one of the NRL's hottest young prospects following his debut in season 2013.
