Chinese brand reveals list of optional extras for new workhorse.
LDV's budget conscious T60 dual-cab ute now offers some work friendly accessories.
The Chinese brand's four-wheel drive workhorse, which goes on-sale locally this month for a very competitive $29,000, now offers potential owners a chance to upgrade essential features.
While the accessories list is fairly basic, it does cover several key areas for customers who plan to enlist the T60 into some heavy usage with choice of either carpet or vinyl floor mats, wind deflectors, bonnet and headlight protectors and a cargo mat.
There is also the choice of two nudge bars, which both have the ability to mount additional driving lights - one of the nudge bars also adds the protection of a bash plate.
LDV is also offering Carryboy canopies with locking side and rear smoked glass windows. Inside the canopy customers can equip a sliding alloy tray to make access easier.
A range of cross bars can be fitted to the standard roof rails, while a full length roof rack can be added when a canopy has been equipped.
Hard tray lids and soft tonnaeu covers are also able to be optioned on the LDV T60.
Other accessories include in-tub LED lights and 12 volt power sockets, towbar, ladder rack and sports bar. Pricing for the accessories has not yet been revealed.
LDV plans on growing the list of accessories and uses predominately Australian suppliers to source the equipment.
"The majority of these accessories have been developed by Australian suppliers with the expertise to match their products to the exacting needs of Australian owners for quality and durability while complementing LDV’s reputation for value for money," said General Manager of LDV Automotive Dinesh Chinnappa.
“This extensive and growing range of accessories is a further sign of LDV’s total commitment to the new market sector it has entered with the T60 and support it provides to owners."
The LDV T60 comes in two trim lines, Pro and Luxe, and is powered by a 110kW/360Nm 2.8-litre turbo diesel engine.
