Opening batsman Nicholas Larkin has scored a double century to put the ACT/NSW Country Comets in complete control of their Futures League match against Queensland at Manuka Oval on Tuesday.
Larkin was finally dismissed for 205 and the Comets finished the second day at 3-491 - a whopping 372 ahead of the Banana Benders.
Jay Lenton (44 not out) and Blake Macdonald (49no) were still at the crease at stumps.
Queensland bowler Samuel Doggett was the pick for the visitors with 2-58, while both Jonte Pattinson (1-125) and Nathan McSweeney (0-112) had centuries with the ball.
The Comets will look to capitalise on their dominance on day three on Wednesday.
