Adult entertainment retailer Club X is offering a $10,000 reward to help catch two men who doused a staff member with petrol during an early morning attack in Melbourne.
Police allege the pair entered the Bayswater Club X store in Melbourne's south-east just after midnight before spraying the 45-year-old female employee with a flammable liquid and making demands for cash.
The men took some money before fleeing the Scoresby Road store on foot. The employee escaped without physical injury.
Rachel Payne of the Eros Association, Australia's adult entertainment industry body, described the adult store attack as "horrific" and called on the general public to assist.
"If you have any information that can assist in the arrest of these men, please contact police'" Ms Payne said.
The $10,000 reward is being offered to anyone who can provide information leading to the arrest of the two attackers.
Wearing a balaclava and pair of stockings as a disguise, the light-fingered crook is thought to have used a fire hydrant to break into the Sexyland outlet on South Road at about 6am on Sunday.
Anyone with more information should contact Crime Stoppers on 1800 333 000.
