Capitals coach Paul Goriss has already written-off training on Monday. The worst part? They'll rinse, repeat and head back west just 18 days later to play the Lynx again.
But Goriss is refusing to make excuses and said an away trip could be good for his squad after three straight home games.
"Sometimes it’s good to be able to get on the road and test yourself and Perth is huge test, they're top of the table playing great basketball," Goriss said.
"The interesting part is the time difference, we’re playing a midday game which is really 9am our time back in Canberra, so we’ve got to adjust to the time very quickly and be up and ready to go."
