''When I sat on her at Canterbury she gave me the feel of a really good horse. I was in Japan when she last ran, I was on the text to Kris saying I wanted to get back on her, she would be a nice welcome home present.
Leader of the pack: Brenton Advulla (first left) out front on Smart Melody the Cap D'Antibes at Flemington.
''I think she can win me a nice race. She's built like a colt, 540 kilos of her. She's a good one and I think she's the real deal. I don't know how far she will get, but it was really impressive to see her take control early and then be the strongest on the line and run away, so I would say 1400 might suit her,'' says Avdulla.
